US astronaut's photographs of space – in pictures

US Astronaut Donald R Pettit has spent 370 days aboard the International Space Station and 13 hours space-walking.


During that time, he created a unique collection of photographs documenting the Earth, the universe and life on board the ISS, reports the Guardian.


The results have been published in Spaceborne by PSG.
 

Jupiter’s south polar region became increasingly visible. 

A montage of 10 JunoCam images shows Jupiter growing and shrinking in apparent size before and after NASA’s Juno spacecraft made its closest approach on 27 August.
