Zuckerberg reveals virtual reality gloves
Oculus just got a new piece of virtual reality kit - a glove that lets users type in thin air and even shoot webs like Spider-Man.
Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, posted photos on his Facebook account yesterday showing off his latest visit to Oculus's research facilities.
The photos include pictures of the new VR gloves as well as images of the company's state-of-the-art equipment at its Washington research lab, the Daily Mail reports.
"We're working on new ways to bring your hands in virtual and augmented reality," Zuckerberg wrote in the post.
"Wearing these gloves, you can draw, type on a virtual keyboard, and even shoot webs like Spider Man.
"That's what I'm doing here [in the picture]," he wrote.
The gloves appear to attach wirelessly to an Oculus VR headset which projects images to the user as they move the gloves in real-time.
