Kim Kardashian blasted for posing as a 'black' Jackie Kennedy Onassis in magazine shoot

Kim Kardashian proudly showed off her latest photo shoot on Tuesday and Twitter isn't impressed.

The reality star, 36, posed as Jackie Kennedy for Interview magazine and that was enough to provoke ire from fans of the late First Lady.

And if channeling the beloved icon wasn't enough to spark a backlash, Twitter users also wanted to know why Kim's skin color was a darkened to match that of her daughter North, whose father is rapper Kanye West.

One of those who replied to Kim's original tweet gushing about how special she thinks the photos are pulled no punches.

“This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen,” she tweeted.

“This is a disgrace,” another person wrote.

“You are no Jackie O,” added another.

“Jackie O turning over in her damn grave right now,” another Twitter user chimed in.

Kim posed with her daughter, who's four, for the series of pictures that hark back to the Kennedy White House of the early 1960s.

But social media was quick to wonder why the 36-year-old, who is of Armenian and British/Dutch descent, looked identical in skin color to her bi-racial child.
