24k gold version of the iPhone 8 available for pre-order

The much-awaited iPhone 8 officially hit the shelves on Tuesday.

Compared to its predecessors, Apple’s latest wonder comes with a bunch of fancy upgrades, including an OLED screen that alone takes its cost up to $999, Luxurylaunches.com reports.  

A Dubai based company by the name of Goldgenie is dishing out gold plated as well as solid gold versions of the luxe iPhone for those who like their phones glamorous and glittering.

The customizations expert promises to paint users’ phones in 24-k gold, rose gold or platinum for that extra edge. It will also roll out another version that comes with diamond entrustments sourced exclusively by Swarovski. 

Apple too is rumored to launch a “blush gold” variant of the iPhone 8, but it isn’t expected to be half as glitzy as that offered by Gold genie. The brand’s previous customizations cost around $20,000 .
