Seaside Startup Summit India.Goa gains governmental support  

Seaside Startup Summit India.Goa will be held on 6-11 of March, 2018. Over 150 early-stage startups will get a chance to attend workshops held by trainers invited from all over the world, attend CampFire Talks and talk to succeeded business people around a campfire in a friendly atmosphere. The startups will also take part in competitions based on their stage of development and field of operation.

Seaside Startup Summit is a non-formal startup event, organized in a form of a tent-camp. The aim of the Summit is to create a new platform for the main stakeholders of startup ecosystem.


For the first time, the Summit was organized in Armenia, in 2016. After the success of Summit 2017, the event moved to the international level and for the first time outside of Armenia was organized 8-12 February, 2018 at Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. The Summit gained governmental support and was organized under the patronage and with the presence of Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, the ruler of Ras Al Khaimah. Sheikh lightened the innovation fire of SSS UAE.RAK and it is expected that Chief Minister of Goa will lighten the innovation fire during SSS India.Goa.

Seaside Startup Summit India.Goa gained governmental support in India, especially in Goa and will be attended by local governmental bodies. Mr. Suresh Prabhu, Honorable Minister of Commerce & Industry, Govt of India, Mr. Manohar Parrikar, Honorable Chief Minister of Goa and Mrs. Mridula Sinha, Honorable Governor of Goa shall grace the summit with their presence and provide all possible government support. This is an indication of the seriousness and impact of the Summit is expected to have on the Indian Startup Ecosystem.

The Summit will be attended by business leaders from all over India and become a new platform for the cooperation. It is expected to have around $800,000 fund commitment and around $50,000 prize fund.

The governmental support from both Armenia and India will lead to new economic partnerships and knowledge transfer.
