This stunning footage taken through a telescope shows a man and his dog playing together at sunrise.

The heartwarming video which was taken from a mile away filmed a game of fetch between the pair.

The telescope was set up in Cris Froese's apartment in Bobrowniki in Poland who then filmed himself and his dog, the Daily Mail reports.

This was done to give the unique effect of the man and dog stood against the backdrop of the rising sun

In the footage, the silhouettes of a man and his pooch among some trees are set against the eerie yellow glow of sunrise.

The filming opportunity was set up by photographer Cris Froese, and stars himself playing with his beloved family dog.

The shoot, which was technically very difficult used a 900/60 refractor telescope with a special solar filter.

The dad-of-one, who lives with his daughter, and wife Kasia, says called in a favour from his wife, asking her to get up and switch with camera on when he had reached the shoot location a mile away from his home.

And despite having no idea whether or not he had been in shot until he returned home, the photographer managed to achieve spellbinding results.

Cris, 37, from Duszniki-Zdrój, Poland, said: “It was cold morning, I was looking through the window. The sun was supposed to rise and I saw that it would rise behind the hill opposite my apartment.
