Germany ratifies EU-Armenia agreement
The German Bundestag has ratified the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) signed between the European Union and Armenia, the Foreign Ministry said in a Twitter post late on Thursday.
The document, signed on the sidelines of the EU Eastern Partnership summit on November 24, 2017, needs ratification by all the EU member states to become fully effective. So far, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Bulgaria, Luxembourg, the United Kingdom and the Chamber of Deputies of the Romanian parliament have ratified the deal.
The National Assembly of Armenia ratified the agreement on April 11, 2018.
