Henrikh Mkhitaryan hosted by 11-year-old fan

Armenian national football team captain and Arsenal midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been the guest of an 11-year-old fan, Eduard, who says he was very excited to have the long-awaited meeting with the sportsman.

The young football fan told Henrikh that he used to skip classes at school very often in order to play football. Mkhitaryan also remembers his childhood years of preferring football to schooling but recommends Eduard to be attentive to lessons.

Eduard spoke of his dream to become a football player. As early as one year ago, he was a goalkeeper for the football club Mika but had to stop the career shortly afterwards because of a cancer diagnosis.  He says he never gets disappointed, hopeful to recover soon to return to the club and defend his team’s goal.

Before that, though, an exciting match was played between the young fan and the football star.

Eduard promised the sportsman to play the next match on a real football field.
