ARF-D urges Armenian voters to boycott constitutional reforms
The Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnakstutyun (ARF-D) has issued a call upon the Armenian citizens, urging them to boycott the April 5 constitutional referendum by refusing to head to polls, remaining privy to the authorities' ″unlawful actions″.
In a statement on Thursday, the party's Supreme Body also blamed the political majority for adventurism, condemning the proposed reforms as a sign of a populist behavior.
It also calls upon the political parties, the civil society and individual citizens to unite the efforts towards ruling out a positive vote and "halt the anti-state process″ to eventually embark on ″real reforms″. The party also promises to take the necessary steps to assist in the proposed campaign.
