Armenian opera soloist Gayane Grigoryan dies at 60

Gayane Grigoryan, a famed Armenian opera soprano soloist of the 1990s, has died after a long disease aged 60.

The National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet reported the singer's demise in a Facebook post on Thursday.

Over the past years, Grigoryan permanently resided in France where she spent also her last days.
