Artsakh parliament speaker meets with senior legislators in Yerevan

As part of an official visit to Armenia, a delegation led by Artur Tovmasyan, the speaker of the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) National Assembly, met with the president and heads of factions of the Armenian parliament.

Warmly greeting the guests, Ararat Mirzoyan expressed his sincere gratitude for the meeting, and the frequency of inter-parliamentary dialogues in general. He praised the format of talks as a good platform for more specific and thematic debates between parliamentary factions and committees.

According to a press release by the National Assembly, Mirzoyan also praised the successful start of the joint work, expressing hope for imparting new qualities to the Artsakh legislature's future functioning.

The Armenian parliament speaker thanked his counterpart for initiating the visit, emphasizing that the new collaboration format will broaden the opportunities of harmonizing the agendas and future partnership.
