Hraparak: Armenian high court to rule on election results ‘until July 17’

The Constitutional Court is to issue its ruling on the legitimacy of the June 20 snap parliamentary elections until this Saturday, July 17, the paper has learned.  

If not the appeals submitted separately by the elected opposition forces, the outcomes would have been officially announced on Monday (July 9). Now, however, the high court has conjoined the examination of the applications filed by four political parties and set a date and time for its upcoming hearing (11 am local time, July 9).

The reporting judge is Edgar Shatiryan, says the paper, adding that a final decision is due within a 15-day period.
