Armenia is facing the dilemma of either a new war or new unilateral concessions.
Avetik Chalabyan, the coordinator of the "Hayakve" initiative, wrote on his Facebook page:
"Azerbaijan's dictator Aliyev's statements yesterday, calling Armenia a fascist country, effectively rejecting the peace treaty, and the brazen demand to hand over Syunik and disarm, once again show that the real intention of Azerbaijan and its sponsors is the complete destruction of Armenian statehood. They are solving that problem are long-term and calculated, step by step, extracting new concessions from the capitulation regime ruling in Armenia at each stage. The current regime, disintegrating the entire security system of Armenia and practically giving up resistance, has only encouraged this behavior and the growing appetites of the enemy with its policy until now.
The reality is that today Armenia is facing the dilemma of either a new war or new unilateral concessions. It is not ready for a new war, and it will never be ready, because this capitulation regime rules in our country, which has been trying to deceive our people for several years with an obviously false agenda of "peace", when the enemy is only preparing for war, and every every year it tears a new piece from our country, with or without a fight, and now it openly refuses any peace.
For real peace, however, we must always be ready for war, and the stronger, united and determined we are, the more the enemy's appetites will decrease, and the probability of war will also decrease. Our country will make endless concessions and be bloodthirsty for itAnd he has no chance. If we want to stop this, we must one day overcome all our doubts, internal differences, personal ambitions, free ourselves from the destructive, dulling influence of this administration, take responsibility for the governance of our country, and lead it out of this vicious circle of decline and loss. p>:
That time is coming, until then we must each be ready to shoulder our own part of that burden, and cooperate with all healthy individuals and forces to protect our country and ultimately lead us out of this crisis.”
