A terrorist attack was prevented on the Krasnodar railway, an agent of a pro-Ukrainian terrorist organization was arrested, the FSB department for the Krasnodar region reported.

"The FSB department of the Russian Federation for the Krasnodar region prevented a terrorist attack in the city of Krasnodar, which was planned to be carried out by a citizen of the Russian Federation born in 1981," the message says.

It was found that the man "initiatively contacted a representative of a pro-Ukrainian terrorist organization", on whose instructions he prepared an incendiary mixture to set fire to electrical equipment on the railway. When approaching the scene of the crime, he was arrested by the employees of the FSB department in charge of the Krasnodar region. There were no casualties, no damage was done.

A criminal case was initiated under Article 30, Part 1, Article 205, Part 1 (preparation of a terrorist attack) and three other articles.
