The Azerbaijani army will meet NATO standards. Aliev

The Azerbaijani army will meet NATO standards. This was announced by the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, APA news agency reports.
In this context, he noted that Azerbaijan's relations with NATO countries are expanding. Moreover, Aliyev emphasized that Baku closely cooperates with the Turkish army within the framework of transition to NATO standards.
In August, the head of Azerbaijan announced that the country's armed forces should be in a state of constant readiness for war, taking into account the unpredictability of world processes.
The president noted that the number of special forces has increased significantly in recent years, and new subversive units have been created.
"We, the state, the people and our armed forces, are the guarantors of our security. Therefore, if someone's sick mind ever thinks of carrying out any provocation against Azerbaijan, I think he will regret it," Aliyev added.
