Human lifespan can be extended up to 150 years. Putin

Russia seeks to increase life expectancy,to announceis President Vladimir Putin during AI Journey conference of "Sbera".

According to him, the average age of people in different countries has gradually increased. if in the past 20-35 years old was considered the norm, today in some countries people live up to 80 years old.

Putin stressed that under appropriate conditions, the human lifespan can be extended up to 150 years.

"It is probably possible to extend it up to 150 years. But, it will always be less. As with money. Always. In my opinion, the main question is not how much to live, but how to live, why and for what purpose," Putin said.

In October 2024, Putin announced that life expectancy in Russia should reach 78 years and then exceed 80. He also noted that one of the goals of Russian healthcare is to extend people's active lives so that they maintain the "ability and desire to work", serve as "consultants" and share their experience.
