Armenian athletes won 12 medals at the Kyokushin Karate World Championships in Warsaw

Armenian athletes achieved impressive results at the 2025 Kyokushin Karate World Championships in Warsaw, Poland.

Approximately 1,400 athletes from 40 countries participated in the prestigious competition, held from November 28 to 30. The Kyokushin Karate Federation of Armenia, led by its founder and president, Andranik Hakobyan, sent a 50-member delegation to the competition.

The Armenian team thus returned home with 12 medals: 2 gold, 4 silver, and 6 bronze.

The World Champion title was awarded to:
