Despite our concerns, we have received high-level assurances from the United States that the “TRIPP” project has remained and continues to remain a priority for the U.S., Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated during a Q&A session between the National Assembly and the Government.

“I must say that the processes related to ‘TRIPP’ have not only slowed down, but have actually accelerated, and both sides - the Republic of Armenia and the United States - are interested in implementing it as quickly as possible.

We can say more: in recent days, we have discussed, in particular, the construction of power transmission lines and the possibility of carrying out construction works earlier than planned,” - he noted.

Pashinyan added that the process is mature and continues to mature, and that the approach of both Armenia and the United States toward the project as an absolute priority is beyond doubt.
