Medical Examination Mandatory for U.S. Immigrant Visa Applicants: Embassy

U.S. immigration law requires all immigrant visa applicants to undergo a medical examination in order to protect public health and comply with the requirements of the Immigration and Nationality Act. This was announced by the U.S. Embassy in Armenia.

“The medical examination is intended to identify infectious diseases that may pose a threat to public health, with the goal of preventing their spread in the United States. It also confirms that applicants have received the necessary vaccinations, protecting both the applicants themselves and the U.S. population,” the statement said.
