It is illogical to hold a referendum until Armenia has officially applied for EU membership. Pashinyan
As long as Armenia has not officially applied to join the EU, or is not very close to obtaining EU candidate status, it would be illogical to hold any referendum, because there is essentially no sufficient basis for doing so. This was stated by Nikol Pashinyan.
“Our relations with Russia are currently in a phase of transformation, and I consider this to be positive.”
It should be recalled that Vladimir Putin and the leaders of the Eurasian Economic Union have proposed holding a referendum on Armenia's accession to the European Union.
