During a phone call with Macron, Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the importance of expanding Armenia's export opportunities

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a telephone conversation with President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron.

President Macron once again congratulated Prime Minister Pashinyan on his victory in the parliamentary elections and wished him success in his upcoming work.

The two leaders discussed issues related to the agenda of the Armenia–France strategic partnership, reaffirming their mutual commitment to the steady development of bilateral relations and the expansion of cooperation.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan thanked President Macron for France's continued support for Armenia's democratic reform agenda. The Prime Minister also emphasized the importance of deepening bilateral trade and economic cooperation and expanding Armenia's export opportunities.

The conversation also touched upon the ongoing process of deepening the Armenia–European Union partnership, as well as regional and international issues.

The peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan was also discussed. Both sides emphasized the importance of establishing lasting and sustainable peace in the South Caucasus.
