Nikol Pashinyan appointed Prime Minister: President signs decree

Based on Article 149, Part 1 of the Constitution, Nikol Pashinyan has been appointed Prime Minister, according to a decree signed by the President of the Republic of Armenia.

Earlier, the Civil Contract Party (CP) announced that, as the political force that formed the parliamentary majority in the National Assembly, it had submitted to the President the required package of documents nominating Nikol Pashinyan for the position of Prime Minister.
