Nikol Pashinyan and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev discussed opportunities for cooperation in implementing regional transport projects

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The Prime Minister congratulated the President of Kazakhstan on the successful conduct of the Kurultai elections. Nikol Pashinyan noted that the convincing results of the vote confirm the broad support of the citizens of Kazakhstan for the course of reforms being implemented by Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The President of Kazakhstan thanked him for the congratulations and warm wishes, emphasizing the importance of developing multifaceted cooperation between Kazakhstan and Armenia.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on opportunities for cooperation in implementing regional transport projects.

The Prime Minister of Armenia and the President of Kazakhstan agreed to continue their discussions on upcoming occasions, particularly during the visit of the President of Kazakhstan to Armenia in October.
