Pashinyan and Uzbekistan’s president discuss further advancement of Armenia–Uzbekistan relations and issues on the bilateral agenda

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. This was reported by the Government.

The latter congratulated Nikol Pashinyan on his reappointment as Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and wished him success for the benefit of Armenia’s consistent development.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to the further advancement of Armenia–Uzbekistan relations and the bilateral agenda. The importance of taking consistent steps toward expanding trade and economic ties was emphasized.

They also exchanged views on regional processes, including efforts aimed at unblocking regional communications.
