Gevorg Papoyan and Turkmenistan’s Minister of Finance and Economy discussed opportunities to expand trade, economic and investment cooperation

On October 1, Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan met with Turkmenistan’s Minister of Finance and Economy Mammedguly Astanagulov in Ashgabat. The meeting was also attended by Arsen Avagyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Turkmenistan, the ministry reported.

The sides discussed opportunities to expand trade, economic and investment cooperation between the two countries, increase exports of Armenian products, and strengthen business ties.

The meeting also addressed the potential for cooperation in various areas, as well as ways to identify new opportunities.

The sides emphasized the importance of strengthening practical ties and implementing mutually beneficial joint projects.
