David Ivanyan and Iran’s Ambassador discussed bilateral passenger and freight transportation, air connectivity, and other sectoral issues

Today, Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia David Ivanyan received a delegation headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia Khalil Shirgholami.

The Deputy Minister welcomed the guests, emphasizing the close and strong partnership relations established between the two countries.

During the meeting, the sides discussed bilateral passenger and freight transportation, air connectivity, and other sectoral issues.

The Ambassador highly appreciated the efforts made by the Armenian side to facilitate and reduce the time required for obtaining permits for freight transportation.

The sides also addressed other issues of mutual interest during the discussion.
