Nikol Pashinyan and Masoud Pezeshkian expressed confidence that Armenia–Iran relations will reach a new level in the near future

A meeting between Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian took place in Turkmenistan.

The interlocutors emphasized the importance of intensive high-level bilateral contacts and expressed satisfaction that these contacts contribute to the consistent development and expansion of Armenia–Iran relations.

The Prime Minister stressed that the two countries have an extensive cooperation agenda and that Iranian companies are involved in strategic projects being implemented in Armenia.

The sides expressed confidence that Armenia–Iran relations will reach a new level in the near future. The importance of the high-level reciprocal visits planned for the near future was also highlighted.

Nikol Pashinyan and Masoud Pezeshkian exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
