Nelli Kocharyan Presents Converse Bank’s Vision for Development of International Relations at the BACEE Conference
Nelli Kocharyan, Director of the Financial Institutions and International Banking Department at Converse Bank, participated in a panel discussion dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Banking Association for Central and Eastern Europe (BACEE) during the Bank Pekao FI Day & 52nd BACEE International Banking Conference held in Warsaw.
She spoke about the partnership established between Converse Bank and BACEE, the practical opportunities it offers, and its po for further development.
“International banking cooperation is built on trust, direct relationships between financial institutions, and a deep understanding of the specific characteristics of each market. BACEE creates an environment where banks from different countries can identify shared business interests and translate them into mutually beneficial cooperation,” said Nelli Kocharyan.
The development of international cooperation also encompasses the exchange of professional knowledge and expertise between partner banks. As an example, Nelli Kocharyan highlighted the Young Talent Exchange Programme, launched jointly with Germany Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW), which provides Converse Bank employees with the opportunity to gain hands-on training and experience at one of Europe’s leading financial institutions.
“Our goal is to turn our presence on international professional platforms into tangible results —from creating new financial opportunities to fostering and expanding business ties between Armenian companies and international partners,” said Nelli Kocharyan.
Converse Bank has been a member of BACEE since 2024. The Bank served as the Lead Sponsor of the Bank Pekao FI Day & 52nd BACEE International Banking Conference.
Converse Bank is supervised by the Central Bank of Armenia.
