Armeconombank Signs Memorandum of Cooperation with " Zinvori Tun" Rehabilitation Center
Armeconombank continues its long-standing partnership with the "Zinvori Tun" Rehabilitation Center, driven by corporate social responsibility and commitment to generating meaningful social impact.
In line with its corporate traditions, the Bank announces its strategic support for key social, educational, and community initiatives in Armenia during its Annual General Meeting each year. Within the scope of the meeting reviewing the 2025 financial year, Armeconombank decided to renew its backing for the center’s "Armenia 301" program, allocating an additional AMD 50 million.
On October 20, a Memorandum of Cooperation was officially signed at the Rehabilitation Center. The newly committed funding will be directed toward expanding the center’s overall operational capacity, procuring advanced medical equipment and security systems, and scaling comprehensive social support programs for wounded servicemen.
The official launch of this renewed partnership was marked by a symbolic ceremony: Armeconombank leadership, alongside servicemen who sustained injuries while defending the Homeland at various times, added glass fragments onto a replica of Martiros Saryan's iconic canvas "Armenia" - symbolizing longevity, healing, and rebirth. The honor of placing the very first fragment was given to Saribek Sukiasyan’s son, Davit, emphasizing the importance of instilling strong values in the younger generation.
Prior to the signing ceremony, Saribek Sukiasyan, Chairman of the Board of Armeconombank, and Artak Arakelyan, Chief Executive Officer, toured the facilities of the "Zinvori Tun" - including the mechanotherapy hall, the library, and the prosthetics center - to review ongoing operations and future expansion plans.
During the screening of short documentary films showcasing the center's social initiatives, Armen Muradyan, Rector of Yerevan State Medical University, and Haykuhi Minasyan, Director of the "Zinvori Tun," presented the inspiring, motivational stories of wounded soldiers with musculoskeletal impairments. They highlighted that the center's dignified inpatient treatment and rehabilitation environment are specifically designed to enable such remarkable personal turnarounds.
Under the AMD 50 million support package allocated by Armeconombank in 2025, an educational and professional training program was successfully conducted for around 30 disabled veterans, providing them with employment opportunities at Armeconombank.
The second major component of the 2025 funding focused on enhancing the center's patient capacity and inpatient infrastructure. Key achievements include:
- Completing and fully calibrating the building’s fire safety system as a crucial security measure;
- Modernizing the entire 6-ton water reservoir infrastructure;
- Replacing the central pump system for building heating and hot water supply;
- Equipping the center’s surgical and rehabilitation departments with state-of-the-art medical instruments and devices;
- Procuring a dedicated Hongqi electric vehicle to serve beneficiaries' mobility needs;
- Executing extensive renovation and structural upgrades across the complex.
Faithful to its social mission, Armeconombank remains steadfast in fostering long-term, sustainable positive change for diverse groups across society.
