Armenia presents its experience in the digitalization of environmental oversight at COP17 – Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body

As part of the 17th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17), an event entitled “Digital Shield for Biodiversity: Rethinking Environmental Oversight in Armenia” was held at the Armenian National Pavilion at the initiative of the Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body.

The event presented Armenia’s experience in applying digital technologies in the field of environmental oversight and highlighted their role in biodiversity conservation, environmental risk assessment, and the prevention of violations.

The event aimed to showcase Armenia’s experience in modernizing the sector and promote international cooperation in the application of digital technologies and biodiversity conservation.
