Armenian Ambassador presents the key principles of TRIPP to Iranian parliamentarians

Ambassador Grigor Hakobyan received Ara Shahverdyan, Head of the Iran-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Parliament (Majlis), and its members Geghard Mansuryan, Seyed Mohammad Saadat Ebrahimi, and Seyed Mohammad Jamalian at the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia. This was reported by the Embassy of Armenia in Iran.

During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation between the legislative bodies of Armenia and Iran, as well as steps to further intensify contacts between the existing parliamentary friendship groups.

Ambassador Grigor Hakobyan briefed the Iranian parliamentarians on the latest developments in bilateral relations with Iran and emphasized Armenia’s readiness to further deepen relations in an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust.

The meeting also addressed the unblocking of regional transport routes. In this context, the Armenian Ambassador presented to his interlocutors the latest agreements reached and the key principles concerning the TRIPP route.
