Armenian performers to take part in New Wave-2012 contest

The participants in the selection rounds of the New Wave-2012 and New Wave Junior-2012 contests were announced on Sunday morning.

Mher Baghdasaryan, Public Relations Executive, Eurovision-2012 in Armenia, told Tert.am that five Armenian performers will take part in the selection round of the New Wave-2012 contest – Lilit Hovhannisyan, Hripsime Hakobyan, Suren Arustamyan, and Mary Mnjoyan.

Also, four Armenian performers will take part in the selection round of the New Wave Junior-2012 – Erna Mirzoyan, Sona Gyulkhasyan, Patricia Movsisyan and Alina Malkhasyan.

On April 18 or 19 the junior and senior participants in the contest will be in Moscow.

The selection round of the New Wave-2012 contest is to take place on April 20 and 21. The selection round of the New Wave Junior-2012 contest will take place on April 18 and 19.

Each of the contests has only one winner. The contests are to take place in Jūrmala, Latvia.
