‘Japan: a distant, but native land’ event to be held in Armenia

The Hikari Armenian-Japanese center plans to organize the “Japan: a distant, but native land” event at the Henrik Malyan theater, May 16, to mark the 20^th anniversary of Armenian-Japanese diplomatic relations.

An origami exhibition will be held on the occasion. The participants will also see fragments from the lyrical work entitled ‘Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter’ and Hovhannes Tumanyan’s tale Death of Kikos in Japanese.

Japanese Ambassador to Armenia Tikahito Harada, Ashot Voskanyan, Head of the Asia, Oceania and Africa Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, and other officials will attend the event.

The event has been organized with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Center of Esthetics, Henrik Maluyan theater.
