PAP rep. silent on reports about becoming deputy speaker

Prosperous Armenia member Naira Zohrabyan has declined to comment on the media reports that she is going to be appointed a deputy speaker of the National Assembly .

The local daily Yerkir said earlier today that Zohrabyan, who was coordinating Prosperous Armenia's pre-election campaign, has considered the issue with the party’s leader, Gagik Tsarukyan, and even obtained his consent.
 

So far, neither the ruling Republican Party nor Prosperous Armenia party have issued an official statement on forming a coalition. That means the PAP is for now an opposition force that cannot claim any posts in the legislative.
