International Arts Education Week in Armenia

Armenia’s Ministry of Culture has responded to UNESCO’s call and plans to hold an International Arts Education Week in Armenia’s capital and regions, May 21 to 27.

“The International Arts Education Week in Armenia will prove to be a test of our country’s achievements in this field. With importance of arts education stressed, the event will present to the public advanced foreign experience, as well as all the initiatives to develop the field,” Armenian Deputy Minister of Culture Artur Poghosyan told journalists on Monday.

Armenia’s Ministry of Culture is also drafting a 2012-2015 government program of youth arts and esthetic education. The program is to be submitted to Armenia’s government before this June.
