‘New Names’ festival opens in Armenia

The 2^nd international festival of young performers ‘New Names’ has been opened today.

It is the second year that the VivaCell-MTS Company has been major sponsor of the festival.

Ralph Yirikian, General Manager, VivaCell-MTS made a speech at the opening ceremony.

New names and phenomena are important in art. By sponsoring the festival, the company re-affirms its intention to support young performers and foster their love for art, he said. The festival is a new opportunity for young performers to fulfill their potential, which requires years of laborious work. “Let us hope that some of the young performers will write never-to-turn-over pages in the history of art,” Yirikian.
