Japanese share experience of handling disaster consequences

A mobile exhibition presenting how Japanese overcome the consequences of earthquake will open at Alexander Tamanyan museum-institute on July 17 and last until August 12.

According to the Urban Development Ministry’s press release, the goal of the exhibition is to present to the visitors the restoration activities of Japanese and foreign architects in the disaster zone.

The exhibition consists of four parts, presenting photos covering the works of Japanese and foreign architects. The first part is response to the emergency situation, the second is ensuring the people with temporary habitation and the third part is the reconstruction program, implementation of foreign projects.

The exhibition is organized by Japanese embassy to Russia, Japanese Foundation, Alexander Tamanyan museum-institute and Armenian-Japanese scientific-cultural Hikari center.
