Iranian rockers to hold metal festival in Yerevan

The first ever Persian metal festival will be held in Yerevan in mid-September, gathering the country’s 10 top bands, including the mighty Arsames from Mashhad city, The Gauntlet reported.

While having a huge number of followers, rock/metal music is illegal in Iran and the fans are severely oppressed. Being able to perform for their fans, which is the fundamental need for any musician, is denied in Iran, that's why Zhesht Events, supported by the guys from Master of Persia, have arranged for the festival to take place in Yerevan, Armenia.

The festival will take place on September 14 at the Puppet Theater, 4. The ticket price is $10.

Specifically for those craving for more metal and thinking that 1 day of metal is not enough, Zhesht Events is also organizing a club after party on on 15th of September in Stop Club.
