Yerevan mayor hosts meeting with young singers' choir

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan received on Thursday the artistic director and members of the Little Singers of Armenia choir.

The young singers have recently returned from Japan where they were on a concert tour dedicated to the Yerevan 2012 World Book Capital events and the 500th anniversary of the Armenian printing art, as well as the 20th anniversary of the Armenian-Japanese diplomatic relations.


According to the Yerevan municipality’s official website, Margaryan thanked the guests for representing Armenia in the best light and wished them more success in their future endeavors.

Thanking the mayor for the warm reception, the young singers shared their impressions of the trip, promising to keep Armenia’s honor up to the mark on all stages across the world.

At the end, they were photographed with the mayor and received souvenirs.
