Holy See condemns “Innocence of Muslims” film

Holy See of St. Etchmiadzin has adopted a statement condemning the creation and dissemination of “Innocence of Muslims” film, Holy See press service reported.

“Armenian Apostolic church strictly condemns “Innocence of Muslims” film that resulted in violence in a number of countries claiming human lives,” the statement says.

The Holy See also condemned the provocative actions that do not promote inter-religious tolerance and formation of atmosphere of peaceful co-living. “Religion and belief should never turn into violence tool as God is for peace and not unrest.”
