Yerevan to host 6th ‘Return’ classical music festival

The sixth classical musical festival “Return" is opening in capital Yerevan under the high patronage of First Lady Rita Sargsyan and the general sponsorship of Armenia’s mobile operator VivaCell MTS.

The event, organized by the cultural foundation Gallery of Arts, aims to bring together renowned Armenian masters of classical art from around the world.

It is the sixth year the festival attracts Armenian musicians from world’s different corners to their historical homeland. This year’s program includes performances by renowned musicians from France, Israel, Denmark and Germany.

“Classical music is a magic tool we must instill in the society, especially in the younger generation, because it is the classical music that can broaden human ability to realize and appreciate the entire beauty of the world around. It is the music that can enrich one’s life, provide a tool to experience the world from a new perspective”, said VivaCell MTS General Director Ralph Yirikian.
