Criminal case filed on violations during Armenia’s National Library reconstruction

A criminal case has been filed at the Armenia’s General Prosecutor’s office on grand larceny, abuse of power during the reconstruction of the Armenia’s National Library, website of the General Prosecutor’s office says.

According to the materials, the cost of the implemented work in 2005 and 2008-2010 amounted to 305 million drams, and then to 709 million 641,000 drams. The materials show the reconstruction of the library was implemented with violations of architectural norms.

As a result, great damage has been caused to the state.
