St. Grigor Narekatsi’s relic to be brought to Echmiadzin Cathedral

The sacred relic of St. Grigor Narekatsi, a medieval Armenian thinker, writer and mystical philosopher, will for the first time be brought to the Echmiadzin Cathedral from the Treasury Museum on Friday evening, a day before the Armenian Apostolic Church celebrates the Feast of the Holy Translators.

The ceremony, expected during the evening mass, will be accompanied by the blessings of Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II. In a statement issued in this connection, the Mother See of St. Echmiadzin calls for an active participation in the pre-feast celebration
