Popok festival slated for Oct 25-27
Popok third international advertisement festival will be held October 25-27 in the Armenian-Russian (Slavonic) University.
Head of Yerevan Municipality’s External Design and Advertisement Department Araz Baghdasaryan told the reporters that it is not only an advertisement festival but will discuss the city’s external design as well which he said, explains Municipality’s participation in it.
Bagdasaryan said the ceremonial opening of the festival is scheduled for October 25 in the Yerevan City Hall.
Armen Martirosyan, festival director, said this year companies from 15 states, guests and international jury arrived to participate in the event.
He said the international jury will conduct master classes and meetings of different formats.
“The festival has three goals. The first one is to educate - the master classes testify it, the second one is to step out from advertisement blockade and walk in parallel with the world ads, and the third one promote the reinforcement of new ties,” he said, presenting the achievements of the previous years.
The contest includes six categories, including Radio, TV, Print, Electronic Ads, Marketing Campaign, Graphic Design and Book, a new category set up on the occasion of declaration of Yerevan as World Capital of Book.
