SymphoJazz concert to take place in Armenia’s capital

The State Youth Orchestra of Armenia, directed by Sergey Smbatyan, and the New York-Yerevan Jazz Quartet will give a joint concert at the Aram Khachaturyan Grand Hall, at 7:30pm, on Nov. 3.

The concert will certainly prove to be one of the spectacular cultural events this autumn. Armenian viewers will hear a harmony of symphonic and jazz music.

Jazzman, pianist and vocalist Vahagn Hairapetyan is director of the New York-Yerevan Jazz Quartet. The other musicians are Zaid Nasser (Alto sax) Ari Roland (Acoustic bass) Ketih Baala (Drums).

Karen Durgaryan, Chief Conductor of the Armenian National Opera, will conduct the concert.
