Serj Tankian, Arto Tunchboyachiyan participate in charity concert to help Syrian-Armenians

The Syrian Armenian Relief Fund, in association with Artists for Kids, has organized a charity concert on November 11 dedicated to Syrian-Armenians at the Pasadena Civic.

Armenian artists came together to do their part to raise awareness for the needs of the Syrian Armenians, the Fund’s web site reports.

Among the performers were Serj Tankian and his father Khatchadour Tankian, along with Ruben Hakhverdyan, Arto Tunchboyachiyan, Lilit Pipoyan (from Armenia), Armen Movsisyan, Vicken Tarpinyan (from France), Sebu Simonian, Element and Viza bands, The Dirty Diamond, Hi-Am Quartet, and others.

It was stated during the concert that $250,000, from the raised funds, will be transferred to assist the Armenian population in Syria.
