Armenian president receives Joseph Kobzon

Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan held a meeting on Friday with People’s Artist of the USSR Joseph Kobzon, who arrived in Yerevan as part of his concert tour on the occasion of his 75^th birthday anniversary.

The Armenian leader congratulated the renowned singer. Armenia is happy to host the talented singer, who has thousands of admirers both in Armenia and in many other countries. Mr Kobzon is certainly a good friend of Armenia and Armenians.

The Armenian leader stressed that Armenia is proud of Mr Kobzon’s commitment to his friendship with the great Armenian composer Arno Babajanyan.

Mr Kobzon thanked the Armenian president for a warm reception. During the meeting he shared his impressions about his visit to Armenia and about the audience that attended his charity concert at the Aram Khachatryan concert hall.

Mr Kobzon is also grateful to the Armenian musicians for giving him a warm reception.
