Works on placing Armenia’s main New Year Tree in Republic Square already launch (photos)

The works on placing the main New Year Tree in Republic Square have launched earlier than usual. The parts of the New Year Tree have already been delivered to the square.

Yerevan municipality’s public relations department head Arthur Gevoryan told Tert.am that the New Year preparations start in the whole world during this period. “Why wouldn’t they start in Armenia as well?” he asked, adding that the change of time is agreed with Yerevan Municipality’s desire to create festive mood a bit earlier.

The municipality official said the other details connected with the New Year preparation activities will be disclosed at coming press conference.
