Yerevan City Hall hosts exhibition of disabled persons

On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Yerevan City Hall hosts an exhibition featuring works by individuals with physical limitations.

Speaking at the event, organized by the Armenian Network of Independent Life union, the head of the municipality’s Social Security Department, Ruzann Zakaryan, promised that their activities targeted at that group of the population will be on-going in future. She said that serious steps are being taken at present to make the capital city more accessible and comfortable to individuals with locomotive dysfunctions.

A concert program that followed the opening saw the Paros Choir and solo singers perform for the participants.

Mayor Taron Margaryan who attended the ceremony gave acknowledgement awards to the organizers of the exhibition and concert, as well as those individuals with disabilities who had serious success in international and local sporting events.
