Armenia’s Catholicos received world famous French actor Alain Delon

His Holiness Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II received today world famous French actor Alain Delon, Holy See press service reports.

At the meeting the Catholicos presented to the actor the history of Armenia’s Apostolic Church, its role in the life of the Armenian people, referred to the ancient-long friendship between the Armenian and French peoples and the role of the Armenia community of France in reinforcement of relations.

Saying that Armenian people have always loved his films, the Catholicos highly assessed Delon’s services to the humanity.

After the meeting Delon visited Holy See’s museums and familiarized himself with the national-spiritual treasures of Armenian people.
